This data set compiles information regarding the biomass of leaf, stem, and root biomass for plants.

Sites Georeferenced: No
Methods: Data was compiled from the primary literature, along with a significant portion of data from Cannell (1982).
Data Collected: species; age; height; leaf, root, shoot, stem & reproduction biomass; leaf, root, & stem growth
Best practices: Error code -999. Both log10 and untransformed values are provided.
Additional considerations: p, li { white-space: pre-wrap; } These data are suitable for general questions, but the individual researcher should consider whether these data are suitable for use in answering population or site-specific questions.

I can't find a way to actually access the raw data? Has anyone else had luck accessing it?

Thanks. I'd tried downloading and opening that file, but apparently it has an encoding that was causing the basic Linux text editor to fail. It's a pretty nice dataset.
