Data collection summary: A combination of timed censuses, territory mapping, mist-netting, and detailed observations were used to determine bird abundances. Methods are described in Holmes, R.T., and Sturges, F.W. 1975. Bird community dynamics and energetics in a northern hardwoods ecosystem. J. Anim. Ecol. 44:175-200.
